A work by Seikou Sato. Risshaku-ji Temple is a temple in Yamagata Prefecture, famous for Matsuo Basho's visit during his journey on the Narrow Road to the Interior. The inscription "Hojuzan Risshaku-ji" is cast on the shoulder of the kettle, and there are designs of the mountain temple and Matsuo Basho. The knob and handle attachments are in the shape of the three wise monkeys: See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil.
