This is a beautiful stamp from the Showa Sukashi Nashi series, featuring a divine depiction of a Bodhisattva, the only one of its kind. The Bodhisattva image appears in several other stamps, but this stamp was the first to be adopted and is the only sen-unit stamp of its kind. It was issued in 1951 and is an item of age. Both the stamp face and the gum appear to be in fresh condition, but there are some slight wrinkles. Please check the second and third photos.
