This is a S.E. Shires Q alessi 3rd valve slide, which came with the purchase. Compared to other valve slides, the 3rd valve slide is slightly larger, and the catalog describes its sound as "thick, rich, and expansive." I've been using the 2nd valve slide and don't see myself using this one, so I'm putting it up for sale.
