This is a gorgeous obi with large karahana (Chinese flowers, reminiscent of the Taisho Roman era) woven onto a deep reddish-purple (possibly adzuki bean color?) background. As it is antique, there is some age-related deterioration, but it is in very good condition for an antique. The obi core is thin, making it supple and easy to tie. The length is approximately 335 cm. The obi width is 30.5 cm, the obi width is 30.5 cm.
