This is a luxurious two-piece set consisting of a pre-made, tailored black formal kimono (tomesode) with gold thread embroidery, handled by Nagoya Mitsukoshi and made by the 460-year-old established brand, <Chiso>, and a genuine fukuro obi (double-layered woven belt) made by <Kawashima Orimono>. *Obiage (sash scarf), obijime (sash cord), and suehiro (folding fan) are used items, but will be offered as a gift upon request. *The tomesode has been altered to lengthen the body length and arm length. There are alteration marks on the lining and outer fabric at the position of the hem (these marks are not visible when worn). Alteration marks on the arm length are visible upon close inspection. The obi has some stains on the lining, as shown in the photos. Although they are not visible on the outer fabric, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. <Chiso> is a renowned Japanese dyeing and weaving brand that has handled furnishings for the Imperial family and other high-end customers. Their black tomesode are highly regarded as "lifetime" attire. <Kawashima Orimono> The genuine fukuro obi is woven simultaneously in a tubular shape, resulting in a uniform thickness and a comfortable fit.
