This is an antique doll, likely from the Taisho era. The hair has been replaced with silk hair, and the entire face has been repainted. This work was done at a workshop of a contemporary Ichimatsu doll maker and cost approximately 200,000 yen. It is in very beautiful condition, and the bellows in the stomach still work well. The kimono is made of good quality old crepe, but there is a tear in the lining of the hem. I have tried on many different kimonos, so if you wish, I can change the kimono to another one.
