This pendant features a striking contrast of gold and black, with a design of birds and flowers. I bought it over 40 years ago because I loved the design, and I wore it a few times before storing it away in a drawer. There are no markings, so I can't be certain, but at the time, there were few items made in China, so it's likely to be either made in Japan or the USA. It's well-made.
