The fabric is 100% silk and made in the USA. It's a tie made of thick, firm silk that's easy to create a dimple with. I'm selling it because I've been wearing ties less for work and I have too many. I liked the color scheme and wore it with a blazer, so there are some flaws. The reason I've rated the item condition as "slightly damaged or with stains" is because there are some scuff marks on the tip of the large blade, as shown in the photos. I've made them bright and easy to see, so please check them. I believe the other parts are in good condition without any noticeable scratches, stains, or fraying.
