This is a 0.7x wide conversion lens. Since it's 0.7x, it doesn't magnify, but rather makes the image smaller, allowing for a wider shot. I think it's perfect for video cameras. I used it on my SONY video camera, attaching it with the included step-up ring. I'll also include the step-up ring, so I think it can be used with various models.
