The fabric on the child's side is quilted, making it thick and comfortable to sit on. I also use this regularly and find it very useful! Usually, the rear seat is used facing backward or standing, but when playing for a long time, children inevitably get tired and want a backrest, or they want to take a nap (lol). Before, I could only hold them, but since I started using this, I can confidently say, "Sleep whenever you want!"(^^) When not in use, it can be folded outward, making it convenient! When folded, it's still possible to sit facing backward or stand without any problems. There's a small gap between the seat and the backrest, but the 2 Seater Next has a narrowed support column for the lower belt attachment, making it difficult for the belt to slip. Therefore, I've never had a child's bottom fall through, even after long use.
