About 20 years ago, someone living in France ran an antique shop in Japan. They traveled back and forth between Japan and France to manage the shop, and I purchased this item there and kept it at home. The shop has since closed. It was a wonderful shop! This is a French antique fabric cafe curtain/room divider curtain. I love this kind of French embroidery and have collected it, but I'm selling it off to declutter. I thought I would keep this one, but this is the last curtain I'm parting with. The two adorable swallows and the garland are finely embroidered with blue thread, which is simply lovely and creates a fantastic atmosphere! I love it so much! It has been cleaned. There are no particular damages, but as it is an old fabric, there are some scuffs, stains, and tears. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection.
