Materials that are too soft are excluded during production (as this affects the resonance and overall playability). The tone is rich in vibration, and it is easy to control from bright to dark sounds. It is also easy to control the p (piano), and adjustments have been made considering the balance between low and high notes. By using a new machine instead of the one used previously, the base is slightly thicker, but the slope from the part where the reed is held to the tip is beautiful, resulting in good response, stability, and a well-balanced finish. For reeds with harder hardness, hand-shaping is added from the base to create balance. Medir material uses profiled kamaboko-shaped cane processed by Medir, and is shaped using a Reeds 'n Stuff straight shaper R1. The thread on the reed is currently light pink. Since it needs to be played during adjustment, it is listed as "Like New," please understand. The reed photos are old, so I will post new ones as soon as they are available.
