Please choose either the L-shaped type or the bar-shaped type. This is a finger rest that accommodates the stepped pickguard. It can be securely attached with the included double-sided tape. The L-shape is treated as a virtual 5th string during so-called apoando playing. I don't know who came up with this idea, but personally, I don't think it's very effective. It doesn't flex like a string, so the sensation is fundamentally different. However, I believe it functions sufficiently as a rest for your fingers, and depending on your playing style, it may have potential uses after plucking the 4th string. The bar-shaped type is a somewhat softer type for finger contact. This is a good option for those who find it painful to rest their fingers on the corners of the pickups. However, it is not designed to contribute to stability when resting your finger on the 4th string. In such cases, we recommend our rectangular rest with a half-finger ramp, or Type A, which is just the rest part, also available.
