Thank you for viewing! This item is a Paul Reed Smith Silver Sky. I acquired a nearly unused left-handed model and customized it for right-handed use. It's a guitar in the style of Jimi Hendrix. Because I use reverse angle picking, I experimented to find the ideal guitar position when using a strap, and the solution was to reverse a left-handed Stratocaster. Similar to the Core model, the SE series also has an unannounced minor update. I previously owned an early model, and the neck is slightly thicker, resulting in a more solid tone. The neck thickness is about the same as the Core model's maple neck. Here are the customization details: * Nut replacement: Graphtech TUSQ * Rod adjustment * String height adjustment * Strap pin position change * Saddle order change * Switch replacement: CRL 5-way * Volume and tone pot replacement: CTS 250kA x 3 * Capacitor replacement: Marolly 150D 0.1μF * Wiring replacement: Montreux cross wire * Jack replacement: Switchcraft #11 The strings are Elixir Nanoweb 10-46. String height is 1.5mm at the 12th fret across the board. The nut has been carefully shaped, and the texture is superior to the original plastic. The electronics have been upgraded with USA-made parts, keeping the US Core model in mind, and wired for right-handed use. This allows right-handed players to use the volume and tone controls naturally, without the reverse operation typical of left-handed guitars. Of course, a resistor has been added to the volume control. The headstock is angled and nearly symmetrical, so reversing it doesn't affect the string tension. Also, the Silver Sky's pickup pole pieces are mountain-shaped, so the volume balance of each string is not a problem even when reversed. There is no fret wear at all. There are some minor scratches on the pickguard, but it's in beautiful condition, including the painted surface. There is a slight stain on the back of the neck from the beginning.
