The etching technique depicts arabesque patterns, with motifs of animals such as dogs and birds hidden within, creating a lovely design with a playful touch, making it a highly popular model series. This type with a round bowl-shaped stem is called Djeddah, and the one with a long stem is called Leila, but the decoration is the same, both featuring a lovely design with many animals depicted. This 8cm tall size is versatile and can be used as a sake cup for cold sake, or for serving honey or syrup to accompany dishes.
