I unpicked and tore apart a kimono, tearing the fabric. Using the fabric as weft threads, I created a fabric using the "sakiori" (torn-weave) technique. I then used this fabric to make a shoulder bag. The warp threads are black cotton yarn. The inside is made of black fabric. It has one magnetic button and one pocket. The shoulder strap is made of cotton. The length can be adjusted. The bag has a wide band of sakiori fabric all the way around.
