This is a tailor-type work jacket featured in a Levi's catalog from the 1900s. It was called a "sack coat" at the time, and while it has a simple construction, it resembles the design of jackets worn by gentlemen of the era. Later, work jackets evolved according to their purpose, and many unique designs were born as "coveralls."
