This is from a '69 Stratocaster Olympic White rosewood fingerboard that I owned a long time ago (about 40 years ago). It's not *the* Jimi Hendrix guitar, but... The last three digits of the serial number are hidden. It was originally a well-used, player's condition guitar, but looking back now, I regret not keeping it as it was. At the time, I wasn't concerned with keeping it original, and I enjoyed modifying the body and swapping out pickups. Also, I didn't keep the original parts carefully, so after many decades, I found various parts scattered around during a house cleaning associated with a move. This plate is one of them. The original neck screws that were removed at the same time are also included. (These mounting screws alone are rare and expensive.) It's 55 years old. The condition isn't great, but the serial number is still legible. How about it for someone who has an old body or neck and wants to match the year? I'm also listing a 1966 plate, and I plan to list Strat pickups from around '69-'74 after checking for any disconnections. *Price reduced on Sundays and holidays*
