A shoehorn was created from a used skateboard. The layered wood of the skateboard is a natural color, and it brightens up any space just by being in the entryway. The monotone design is cool. Some parts of the wood grain appear black in the image, but this is the original texture. The original board is from sk8mafia, a skate brand from San Diego, California. It's a brand with many core fans! Length: 55 cm (measured without the string) Width: 4.5 cm at the widest point. Polished smooth with 600-grit sandpaper. Finished with varnish. Skateboards are made of Canadian maple, which is a very strong material. It is said that it takes 30 to 80 years for the wood to grow before it is harvested. Instead of discarding this valuable material, I created this with the feeling of giving the skateboard a second life. There are some scratches from skating in places, which I have left as they are.
