Purchased from an antique shop in the Netherlands. I was told it is a very old item. One of the legs has been repaired since the time of purchase (Image 14). There is no wobbling. There are small rectangular holes on the top and bottom (Images 13 & 14). I have forgotten the explanation of its use. The drawer slides smoothly. There are scratches and stains due to aging.
