When I put my child in this child seat, they would immediately fall asleep, resting their face on the front. It's a good idea to put a towel there. I bought and used it a few years ago, but it's no longer needed as my child has grown. All mounting parts are included. I temporarily attached it to a bicycle, so please see the photos.
