Spode's Christmas Tree series salt & pepper shakers. These are vintage items purchased at a US flea market in the 1990s. They have been displayed in a cabinet since purchase and are unused. The bodies are clean with no noticeable scratches, but the plastic stoppers on the bottom have hardened and are damaged. The salt shaker with one hole can be removed and inserted by hand, but the pepper shaker with three holes could not be removed, and I ended up using a tool, which caused some scratches. As a result, I was able to remove it smoothly by inserting the staple remover. It's also difficult to reattach, so you may want to replace them with cork stoppers or something similar if you intend to use them.
