This is an FD drive that connects via PC card. No accessories are included. I have confirmed that it can read, write, and format floppy disks on Windows XP. The driver was set up automatically. I don't think there are any later drivers. It's a SONY product, but it can be used with other manufacturers' computers. However, I believe only officially supported models can boot from a floppy disk. Also, it seems to be incompatible with 3-mode floppy disks.
