[Instrument Description] HORA/Romanian VIOLIN 4/4. The bow, strings, rosin, and shoulder rest are non-branded but new. The case has some damage, although it's not immediately apparent, so please consider it for transport only. The violin itself is in beautiful condition. HORA was founded in 1951 by Roman Boianciuc, a master string instrument maker who made the first violin from resin. The name comes from [Resin], a town in Transylvania, Romania. This town has many companies that manufacture musical instruments and is known as the "City of Violins." Among them, HORA is the largest European company, with a workforce of about 300 people, producing over 50,000 guitars, 5,000 mandolins, 10,000 violins, and 2,500 cellos and contrabasses annually. The wood used is dried for 5-10 years from the Carpathian Mountains, famous for producing high-quality wood. HORA instruments are known to have users worldwide, including in the United States, Canada, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Sweden, Finland, Israel, Russia, and Japan. Type: Violin
