You may not be familiar with the brand Fairydown, but it's a New Zealand brand that has now been absorbed by Macpac. It contains a lot of down and I used to wear it as an outer down vest. It uses GORE DRY LOFT, a breathable and water-repellent material specifically developed for down clothing, so you can wear it with confidence even in the rain. I wore this down vest not just on its own, but also over a Patagonia Retro X, as shown in the seventh photo. (This listing is for the down vest.
