This is a respiratory monitor for infants. A pad placed under the futon or mattress detects the baby's breathing movements. If the baby's movement stops for 20 seconds or falls below 10 times per minute, an alarm sound and light will alert you. I received this as a gift, and the instruction manual is in English because it's a foreign version. However, the previous owner provided a Japanese translation, and there's also a copy of the instruction manual for a similar model sold in Japan, so I don't think you'll have any trouble using it. The accessories are all shown in the images. The battery case lid is stiff, and I used a tool to open it, so there are some scratches. Operation confirmed on September 20, 2025.
