This is a work similar to the Tako stone, which is of the same type as the Tako Monument in Yoshii-machi, Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, one of the three oldest stone monuments in Japan. A teacup was carved from the Tako stone, and then lacquered and baked. The size is shown in the photo. By Tatsuhiko Kurata.
