This model combines a half-ramp with an extended finger rest. To be honest, I think the finger rest in the second image is overwhelmingly easier to use, but I made this type as per the customer's request. The rest part has an L-shape with a near-triangular cross-section, and it's designed to be quite sturdy, so it won't break even if you press your thumb firmly against it. It's also designed to provide a comfortable feel when you rest your fingertips after plucking the 4th string. The thickness of the ramp will be adjusted simply according to the string height of the customer's instrument. The basic shape will be selected or automatically chosen from several existing types, such as asymmetrical arch, flat top, and symmetrical shapes. The thickness of the pickguard will also be made to match the specifications you provide. It has a step for the pickguard and a pocket to avoid pickguard screws on the back, and you can attach it directly with the included double-sided tape (the avoidance area is designed with some margin).
