This is a shower bench from Iron Kasei. To open it, simply push the top of the backrest with a light touch to set it up as a chair. The front legs have casters (Easy Assist Casters) to assist with the opening motion. Also, to fold it, just pull the Easy Assist lever on the back of the backrest. It can be easily operated even by elderly people with weak grip strength or those with joint diseases. The seat height is adjustable from 36 to 48 cm. By having only one drainage hole in the seat's soft pad, maintenance is reduced (the structure prevents water from accumulating between the soft pad and the seat). It can be folded for use in a small bathroom.
