The unique deep color, a mix of blue and green, is achieved by using a gas burner to char the surface of the light ash wood, followed by fabric adjustment to leave the burn marks in the conduits, and then finished with "Burn Blue Sunburst" to bring out the wood grain. It also features a matching headstock. This is one of only three limited production items. The controls have been simplified by removing the preset sounds found on a standard Jazzmaster, and instead use a 3-way toggle switch, making it very easy to use. There is very little wear and tear, with a slight scratch near the end pin, but overall it is in very clean condition. The neck condition is also good, with approximately 90% of the frets remaining, and the truss rod is in good condition. A Montreux Buzz Stop Bar has been installed to prevent string slippage.
