Unknown Model 1940s Special Vintage US Military Chemical Protective Jacket Trousers Set up Frogskin Camo WALDES Koji-stop Zip This is a chemical protective suit, likely a US military product, from around the 1940s. The thin plain-weave cotton fabric is printed with a Frogskin-like camo pattern, and the lining is coated in gray. The coating comes off in places when you stick tape to it, but it's not in a state where it's naturally flaking off. The seams and repaired areas of the pants have been treated with wax or something similar to prevent chemicals or gas from entering through the seams. The snap buttons are from Rau Fasteners and are all present and in perfect working order. This is a museum-level piece, worthy of being called special vintage. Condition: - Minor scuffs on the lower back and the end of the left sleeve. - Minor stains around the crotch. - One repair mark. - The elastic in the waist still has plenty of stretch. - Some brown coating material is attached to the outer fabric.
