This is a tare (protective skirt) made of total dark navy deerskin. Although the details are unknown, judging from the shape of the leather corners, it is likely made by Mitsuboshi. As you can see from the photos, the stitching is incredibly beautiful, and I believe this quality is made in Japan. It is generally considered to be in good condition.
