I am clearing out the belongings of my grandfather. I am listing a beautiful, lovely, blue ceramic piece from my grandfather's collection, who was a collector of antiques. It depicts a stunning spring orchid. It is flatter and larger than a matcha tea bowl, so I'm not sure if it's a tea utensil, but it has a wonderful atmosphere, so I'm putting it up for sale. It's an antique, vintage ceramic piece, possibly a tea or flower utensil. It appears to be quite old. A signature mark is engraved on the bottom. It was carefully stored on a shelf in the back of the tea room in the storehouse, so I believe it is a very good item. The white, porcelain-like clay has a smooth, gray glaze applied in a circular pattern, and fine crack patterns appear throughout, creating a magnificent depth and intricate design. In addition, the sides are undulating, creating an easy-to-hold shape and a beautiful shadow, revealing different expressions depending on where you look, making it a truly atmospheric piece. The blue color depicts what appears to be spring orchids, with strong roots and delicate blooming orchids, which are truly magnificent. I think you will like this wonderful piece, which allows you to enjoy both the atmosphere of the ceramic and the artistic talent. My grandfather was a hospital director in his lifetime and owned many works, including paintings and ceramics by Living National Treasures, and he boasted about them, so I think they are all very good items. Neither my grandchild nor my mother are very interested in antiques, and we don't know whose work it is or what kind of ware it is. I don't know if the items I'm listing are Imari ware, Kutani ware, Shigaraki ware, or Seto ware. Even if they are wonderful works of art or very expensive items, such as a large number of antiques and works by Living National Treasures, I have no idea of their value.
