It's very old, but it's well-made, so there are no problems with opening and closing it. It's difficult to photograph the firefly dye well, but the flowers appear translucent. (See images 3-5) It's rare these days to find fans dyed with indigo all the way to the ribs. Also, I've never seen firefly-dyed fans other than my own. In my opinion, this is a valuable fan. There is no box as it has been disposed of. It was stored in a paulownia chest, so I have confirmed some minor scratches associated with storage. I would appreciate it if someone is okay with that and will cherish it.
