For any reason or cause whatsoever, the successful bidder agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the first instance of the district where the seller's current address is located, and to file lawsuits in said courts, as a condition of bidding. The foregoing exclusive agreement on jurisdiction shall apply even to matters outside the scope of this transaction. If litigation is to be heard in a court other than that which has jurisdiction over the seller's current address, the successful bidder shall be obligated to withdraw the lawsuit and waive the right to the subject matter of the lawsuit in said litigation. The seller may cancel the transaction at any time at the seller's discretion, without the buyer's consent. Cancellations may be made by the seller without prior notice, regardless of whether the successful bidder is at fault. In the event of a dispute arising from this transaction, the maximum amount of damages the successful bidder may claim, whether for breach of contract or tort, shall be limited to the sum of the winning bid amount and the shipping costs. The successful bidder shall bear the costs of restoration to the original condition due to termination, and any other fees related to such matters. If the seller's responsibility is to be pursued, the successful bidder shall bear the burden of proof for any claim and shall provide evidence that leaves no room for reasonable doubt. The successful bidder shall bear all responsibility for any and all issues inherent in transactions between parties, regardless of where responsibility lies. If any monetary exchange, such as a refund, becomes necessary due to any circumstances arising from this agreement, the exchange shall be conducted between Japan Post Bank accounts, regardless of whether the seller is at fault. If, for any reason, the successful bidder needs to ship an item to the seller, the seller shall choose the shipping method, regardless of whether the seller is at fault for the circumstances that necessitate the shipment. If, for any reason, the successful bidder needs to ship an item to the seller, and the seller is at fault for the circumstances that necessitate the shipment, the seller shall be deemed to have fulfilled their obligation by paying only the shipping costs to the successful bidder. The seller shall not incur any claims from the successful bidder for any other actions necessary for the shipment, such as packing and shipping, by the successful bidder in relation to said shipment.
