This is the chest piece only of a kendo dou (body protector). It was removed from a 60-piece Shoryudo dou-dai (body frame). As there was a Yagyu-do mark on the dou-dai, the chest piece is likely made by Yagyu-do. The current core material is soft and slightly smaller, so it fits the body well when assembled, and arm movements are smoother. The shokko (decorative stitching) is engine red and wisteria-colored tortoise shell pattern. It's slightly larger than current ones, so it stands out even from a distance. The material is uncertain, but it feels like deerskin. It has two leg supports. This is a used item. Please bid only if you are satisfied with the photos and description.
