The first use may not be very absorbent, but the absorbency of the fibers will increase with repeated use, making them more user-friendly. They may feel particularly stiff at first, so pre-washing is effective. As color may fade, wash them with water at first and soak them in cold water for 24 hours before use. Please avoid washing with light-colored items as color transfer may occur. The size when first received is slightly larger, but it will shrink after washing.
