This is a large celadon plate by Kaito Tsukamoto (1912-1990) of Kaiyama Kiln, a Living National Treasure. It is an extra-large plate, approximately 39 cm in diameter and 5 cm in height. It's quite rare to find celadon this large. It would look great anywhere you display it. The translucent blue gradation is very beautiful. The colors appear different due to the camera's auto function, but the color in the first photo is closest to the actual item. There are no cracks or chips, and it is in very good condition, but please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about minor imperfections. The wooden outer box has some scratches and wear due to age. I am currently displaying it in my hallway at home, so I cannot offer a significant discount.
