Worn once at a wedding when the child was 1 year and 9 months old. Hasn't been worn since. The ribbon at the waist is detachable with safety pins. The poncho was purchased separately to match the dress (it was not sold as a set). I added the flower to the collar of the poncho. Originally, there was a button. Therefore, there is a hole to hook the button, but it is covered by the flower and is not visible.
