Hiraizumi-nuri (Hiraizumi lacquerware) is lacquerware made by the Oshu Fujiwara clan, who flourished in Hiraizumi, Iwate Prefecture, at the end of the Heian period. It is a traditional craft of the Tohoku region. It is in overall beautiful condition. (Unused) Please purchase only if you understand that it has been stored at home.
