Based on the condition of the sword and the inscription, it is thought to be an old sword from the Kamakura to Muromachi period, possibly from the Sagemonji school of swordsmiths. ・ The hamon (blade pattern) is straight. ・ The scabbard and handle are made of Japanese oak. Finished with cashew lacquer. ・ The sword bag is a remake of an old kimono obi. ・ The tsuba (handguard) is a handmade brass carving. ・ The mekugi (peg) is smoked bamboo. ・ This product is the tip of the sword.
