Elastic alone was sufficient. The system displays M, but please refer to the size in the description. Size: Waist (flat): 34cm Waist (stretched): 58cm Rise: 34cm Inseam: 23cm Side length: 54cm (measured by hand) As shown in the photos, there are very small scratches and small, light stains. I believe the stains can be removed with bleach, etc. There may be other small, hard-to-see scratches, but there are no major scratches that are noticeable during use.
