The deep color and high-quality texture bring a calm and luxurious feel to the space as "furniture" for the Comandante. Dyed to a渋く (shibuku - subdued, tasteful) and weighty black using the traditional "iron mordant" dyeing technique used for plant dyes. The original color of the walnut, slightly visible behind the jet-black, enhances the warmth and depth of the material. The simple yet impactful finish gains more character the more it is used.
