The photos aren't taken well, so it may look like there's burn-in on the screen, but there is no such issue. There is some dirt and dust accumulation due to age. I usually turn it on with the remote control, but a few times a year, the picture doesn't appear. In that case, it can be resolved by turning the main power switch on the unit off and on.
