It is highly elastic, extremely lightweight, and the rich texture of Akita cedar fits various scenes, regardless of style, as a vessel to color food. The surface is coated with cashew resin paint, which is closer to lacquer than urethane paint. The magewappa from Odate Kogei, made with high-quality Akita cedar, pursues design and ease of handling, and is a masterpiece vessel that combines versatile functionality and beauty. Two plates are in almost unused condition.
