This is a pocket watch with an Alice in Wonderland motif. I obtained it about 10 years ago and have been storing it. It was working when I first got it. It has stopped now. I'm not familiar with pocket watches, so I don't know if it can be repaired. It has an elaborate design, so I think it would be cute just to display.
