For the photos, I've laced the shoes with different laces on each side, but there are two of each type, so you can wear them in two different styles. I remember wearing them about three times the year I bought them. They were a bit too edgy for my wardrobe, so I've kept them stored away. They are made of genuine leather, but the synthetic leather used for reinforcement on the inside of the holes has deteriorated over time and is peeling. See image 9. Although it's not a part that directly touches your foot, it may continue to expand with wear and tear.
