It prevents the fukusa from wrinkling. ■For illustrative purposes, the fukusa and fan are pictured, but the sale includes only the main item and a matching toothpick holder. Fans up to 20cm and kaishi up to 18.5cm can be stored. It closes with a magnetic clasp. Made from a disassembled vintage silk komon kimono. The fabric is a lovely khaki-colored branch and flower pattern. The lining is off-white synthetic fabric. Cardboard and a synthetic fiber sheet are inserted between the layers.
