Issey Miyake's stadium jacket from the 1983 autumn/winter collection. I've finally decided to put it up for sale. Issey Miyake often made stadium jackets back then. Among them, those with logos are quite rare, I think. I happened to be looking at GQ, and the well-known fashion enthusiast, Haliburton, was wearing one without a logo. I don't know how he got it, but it's probably from 1985-1987. The arm sections are made of indigo-dyed cotton fabric. The main body is pure wool, and the lining is cupro. Later works would include nylon blends or acrylic in the ribs. A pocket with a logo on the left arm. The chest access point, which is a signature Issey design. The short length, wide body, and thick arms, which are typical of Issey, are also cool. This is from the very early days when Issey started making stadium jackets.
