It looks purplish in the photos, but it's a reddish-purple color. These board shorts would look great with the now-popular alternative style boards, and a black front-zip top. They look dirty overall, but this is due to the fade processing. Some wax remains on the right thigh and the left hip area (see photos 6 and 7).
